Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) also emit light but in a different way than a CCFL screen. Modern laptops are 1080p, which means 1920 x 1080 pixels (2k) but now there are laptop screens that are 4k (3840×2160 pixels) and even 8k (7,680 by 4,320).
